RE: SUMMARY OF 02/12/98 BDAC MEETING IN WASHINGTON, DC

Attached you will find a summary of the Broker Dealer Advisory Committee Meeting which
took place February 12, 1998 in the ICIGs offices in Washington DC.
The next meeting of the Broker Dealer Advisory Committee will be on Tuesday, May 12, 1998
in Washington DC. This meeting will commence at 10:00am, and is expected to conclude by 3:00pm.
Additionally, we will be returning to our earlier format, wherein the Enhancements Committee will
meet on the preceding afternoon. The Enhancements Committee meeting will thus take place on
Monday afternoon, May 11, 1998 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the ICIGs offices. A joint
BDAC/Enhancements Committee dinner will take place the night of Monday, May 11, 1998. Details
on that dinner and accomodations for those needing to stay over on the night of May 11 will follow.
Please indicate your intentions toward attending the Enhancements Committee Meeting, the dinner,
and the full BDAC meeting on the last page of this document. The page should be returned via fax to
Beatrice Williar at 202/326-5853 by no later than April 17, 1998.
