RE: NOTICE OF MEETINGS - FEBRUARY 28-MARCH 1, 1989

This is to advise you that there will be a two-day meeting
of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee on February 28 and March
1, 1989. Both meetings are for committee members only - please
do not invite guests. The meetings will take place in New York
at The Grand Hyatt Hotel which is located on Park Avenue at 42nd
Street. The session on February 28 will start at 9:30 a.m. in
the Broadway/Carnegie Room on the Conference Level and is
expected to continue until 4:30 p.m. The session on March 1 will
begin at 8:30 a.m. in Ballroom E on the Ballroom Level and is
expected to continue until 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be served on
both days.
For your convenience, we have reserved a number of rooms
for the nights of February 27 and 28 at the Grand Hyatt. The
cost per night is $160.00 (single or double). IF YOU NEED A ROOM
RESERVATION, YOU MUST CALL THE HOTEL AT 212/883-1234 BY TUESDAY,
FEBRUARY 14 AND TELL THEM YOU WANT A ROOM IN THE ICI OR
INVESTMENT COMPANY INSTITUTE BLOCK.
Finally, in order that we know exactly who will be
attending these meetings, we ask that you complete the attached
form and return it to Rita Pemberton at the Investment Company
Institute, 1600 M Street, N.W. - 6th Floor, Washington, D.C.
20036 by Tuesday, February 14, 1989. Or, if you prefer, please
