RE: NOTICE OF MEETINGS - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18, 1997

The Tax and Pension Committee meetings have been scheduled for Wednesday, June
18, 1997. The Tax Committee will meet at 10:00 a.m. and the Pension Committee will meet at
1:30 p.m. The meetings will be held at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W.,
12th Floor, Washington, D.C. Committee members are invited to attend both meetings that
day.
A joint luncheon will be served immediately following the Tax Committee meeting and
preceding the Pension Committee meeting. Our guest lunch speaker will be Robert J. Doyle,
Director of the Office of Regulations and Interpretations, Pension and Welfare Benefits
Administration at the US Department of Labor.
Please remember that space at the meeting is limited to members of the committees or
their alternates. To assist us in obtaining an accurate registration of attendees, please indicate
on the attached form if you or an alternate plan to attend the meetings and luncheon.
Please mark your calendar for the Tax and Pension Committee meetings scheduled for
Wednesday, October 15, 1997 at the Investment Company Institute.
