RE: NOTICE OF MEETING TO DISCUSS DRAFT INSTITUTE COMMENT
LETTERS ON DISCLOSURE REFORM PROPOSALS

The Institute has scheduled a meeting on Thursday, May 22nd at 10:00 a.m. to discuss
draft comment letters on the SECs pending proposals concerning Form N-1A, fund profiles
and fund names.* The meeting will be held in "Salon D" of the Marriott at Metro Center
located at 775 12th Street, N.W., Washington, DC. Lunch will be served at the meeting. If we
do not get through all of the letters on May 22nd, it is possible that the meeting will reconvene
on Friday, May 23rd at the Institute. The draft comment letters will be circulated to you in
advance of the meeting.
On a related note, we recently prepared the attached chart comparing the current and
proposed requirements of Form N-1A. Members may find it helpful in connection with
analyzing the proposed amendments to Form N-1A.
