Enclosed is your copy of the Institutes 1997 Membership Directory & Guide. This directory is
intended to provide you with a handy reference guide of the Institutes membership and their
primary contacts. Please note that our cut-off date for new information was January 21, 1997.
Therefore, changes reported to the Institute after this date (or new members who joined the
Institue after this date), will not appear until next years edition.
Following last years format, the governing groups and committee listings begin on page 1,
followed by a listing of the Institute staff (page 49) and ‘Who to Call at the Institute for. . ."
(page 55.) The latter list which has staff direct dial telephone numbers is helpful when calling
the Institute on a specific matter. This is followed by a section on member benefits and services
(page 63) and a list of 1997 Institute-sponsored conferences and workshops (page 67.)
The member fund group listings begin on page 69 and include the name of the primary contact
person for each group, a title, company affiliation, address and telephone/fax numbers. The
member UIT sponsor listing appears on page 99, followed by the investment adviser associate
member and broker-dealer associate member listings. Finally, the index of member contacts
begins on page 141 and should be helpful when trying to locate a particular person.
This publication is for the exclusive use of Institute members and associate members, and is not
to be made available to any nonmember. Additional free copies are available to members on a
