RE: NOTICE OF UPCOMING COMMITTEE EVENTS

The purpose of this memorandum is to inform you about International Committee events
scheduled for 1997. We encourage you to plan to attend or to send a representative.
May Committee Meeting
The next International Committee meeting will be held Wednesday, May 15, 1997 at 9:00 A.M.
This will be a joint meeting of the International Committee and members of the European mutual fund
industry who are attending the Institute’s General Membership Meeting. The meeting will be held in the
David Silver Conference Room, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, D.C. A continental
breakfast will be available at 8:00 A.M. and luncheon will be served after the meeting.
To assist us in obtaining an accurate registration of attendees, please indicate on the attached
form if you or an alternate plan to attend the meeting.
Dinner for International Committee and International Guests
The Institute will host a dinner for International Committee members and international guests to
the GMM on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 P.M. The dinner will be held at an area restaurant or club. We
will provide more details about the dinner as soon as they are available.
October Committee Meeting
The last International Committee meeting in 1997 is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, 1997
at 10:00 A.M.
