Attached is a copy of an article from the International Business Lawyer dealing with
attorney-client privilege for in-house lawyers in the EU. The article states that the European
Commission takes a very narrow position on attorney client privilege for communications of in-
house counsel and non-European lawyers. The article was mentioned briefly at the January 15,
1997 meeting of the International Committee.
