In accordance with the request of the International Committee, we are forwarding to you:
1. Additional information about a conference at the Russian Consulate in New York on the
development of Russian mutual funds. (See Memorandum to International Committee
No. 21-96 dated July 8, 1996.)
The programs organizers are interested in finding representatives of the US
industry to speak at the conference about the U.S. industry. The contact person

2. A request on behalf of the Ukrainian Securities Commission for a mutual fund attorney
to travel to the Ukraine to advise the Commission on fund operations and regulation.
