The SEC requests that all messages sent to the mailbox include a return postal address and a daytime telephone number. In addition, the SEC recommends that messages sent to the mailbox not contain any sensitive or confidential information and indicates that responses to such inquiries do not represent statements of SEC policy or opinion.
