RE: REMINDER - RESPONSES ON INTERNATIONAL PRIORITIES REQUESTED
BY APRIL 30, 1996

In a memorandum dated March 22, 1996 we asked for you assistance in establishing
priorities for the Institutes international efforts for the coming year.1 We asked for your
comments on several matters including, among others, identifying the particular emerging
markets clearance, settlement or custody practices of most concern to your funds and
identifying the countries that should be priorities in US world trade negotiations and the
specific investment and access barriers in those countries that should be eliminated.
We are very interested in receiving your responses in order to prepare for meetings with
international organizations during the week of May 20. For that reason, we again ask you to
respond as soon as possible, but no later than April 30, 1996.
