Attached for your information is a copy of a brochure for a two-day seminar in New
York on May 2 and 3, 1996 on pension fund management in Japan. The seminar is sponsored by a
research institute affiliated with the Pension Welfare Service Public Corporation (Nempuku), a
government corporation responsible for managing Japans public employee pension fund. The program,
which is designed to present an overview of pension fund management in Japan and the US for pension
executives from both countries, includes sessions on the structure and investment activities of public and
private sector pension plans in Japan.
