REQUEST TO PROVIDE TRAINING IN RUSSIA

February 2, 1996 TO: INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE No. 5-96 RE: REQUEST TO PROVIDE TRAINING IN RUSSIA ______________________________________________________________________________ Attached is a letter describing a pilot program of the Russian Federation Commission on Securities and Capital Markets to create nine unit investment trusts under the Commission s supervision and regulation and develop a training program for unit investment trust personnel. Burson-Marsteller, which is assisting the Commission under a contract with the United States Agency for International Development, is looking for persons who would be willing to help teach a three-day seminar in Moscow covering matters such as disclosure, mutual fund operations, advertising rules and performance measurements, with reference to the US regulatory framework.
