RE: SPECIAL MEETING SCHEDULED DURING 1995 SECURITIES LAW
PROCEDURES CONFERENCE

The Institute has arranged for the SEC Rules Committee to meet with several members of the
staff of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management. We have scheduled the meeting for Thursday,
December 7, 1995 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, the site of the 1995 Securities Law
Procedures Conference.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide a forum for the discussion of current issues in an
informal setting. The meeting is restricted to members of the Institute’s SEC Rules Committee or their
alternates. We would appreciate knowing in advance the names of those who plan to attend. Please
return the attached form to Elizabeth Lyons at the Institute, by fax at 202/326-5827. Alternatively, you
may sign up with Elizabeth at the registration area for the conference when you arrive.
