Institutes country by country compilation of information on the requirements and restrictions
affecting money managers seeking to invest in foreign countries. This loose-leaf service, begun
in 1993, now contains information on foreign investment restrictions, foreign investment
taxation, obligations to disclose significant shareholdings, custody, and securities lending in 47
foreign countries.1 Updates to the Guide are published annually.
The Foreign Investing Guide is the only publication of its kind. We are confident that
money managers, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals in the United States and
abroad would find it useful as a general source of information on the restrictions and
requirements that exist in other countries.
The Institute makes the Foreign Investing Guide available to the general public.
