RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - OCTOBER 31, 1995

A meeting of the SEC Rules Committee has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
October 31, 1995, to be held in the David Silver Conference Room at the Institute, located at
1401 H Street, NW, Washington, D.C. There will be a luncheon immediately following the
meeting. Due to space limitations, the meeting is open to committee members or a designated
alternate only.
At this meeting, we will follow the new format that was first used at the June 6th
Committee meeting. Thus, Institute staff will not report on all regulatory developments since
the last meeting. Rather, we will discuss only a limited number of current issues that are of
significant interest to the industry.
Please indicate in the space provided below whether you or an alternate plan to attend
the meeting, and note any items that you would like to discuss at the meeting. A copy of the
agenda will be circulated shortly before the meeting.
We look forward to seeing you on October 31st.
