RE: COMMITTEE MEETING AND DINNER - OCTOBER 17-18, 1995

The next meeting of the Bank Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee and the
Vendor Advisory Group will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 1995 at the
Investment Company Institute which is located at 1401 H Street in Washington, D.C.
The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m., lunch will be provided and the meeting is
expected to continue until approximately 4:00 p.m.
We have arranged a dinner for interested Committee members on the evening of
Tuesday, October 17, 1995. We will meet in the lobby of the hotel at 6:30 p.m. and walk
to the Red Sage restaurant which is located at 605 14th Street, N.W.
For your convenience, we have reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the
Marriott at Metro Center, located at 775 12th Street, N.W., for the night of Tuesday,
October 17th at a rate of $165.00 per night. To make room reservations, please call the
hotel at 202/737-2200 and request a room in the Investment Company Institute block.
Room reservations must be made by September 20, 1995.
Please remember, attendance is limited to Committee members or their
designated substitutes only. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved in advance
by the Committee Chairman and the ICI.
Please confirm your attendance at the meeting and dinner by completing the
attached Meeting Response Form and returning it to Agnes Thomas by September 26,

Enclosed are the revised page ten of the trust proposal which reflects changes
discussed at the June Committee meeting and a sample commitment letter to aid those
Committee participants in the process of discussing systems requirements within their
organizations and with their external system providers.
