RE: MEETING TO DISCUSS CLEARANCE AND SETTLEMENT ISSUES

At the International Committee Meeting on June 28, several members expressed an interest in
exploring in greater detail clearance and settlement issues that arise in certain foreign markets. As a
result, we have scheduled a meeting to discuss emerging market clearance and settlement issues on July
27, 1995 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the ICI Mutual Conference Room. To assist us in obtaining
an accurate registration of attendees, please indicate on the attached form if you or an alternate plan to
attend the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to identify clearance and settlement issues as to which the
Institute could develop guidelines to assist funds in complying with legal requirements.
Lunch will be served after the meeting.
