June 1, 1995 TO: BANK BROKER/DEALER ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 17-95 RE: JUNE 27th COMMITTEE MEETING, JUNE 26th BASEBALL GAME AND APRIL 21st MEETING SUMMARY ______________________________________________________________________________ As previously announced, the next meeting of the Bank Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee and Vendor Advisory Group will take place on Tuesday, June 27, 1995 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown which is located at 200 West 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. with continental breakfast, lunch will be provided and the meeting is expected to continue until 3:30 p.m. For your convenience, we have reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown for the night of Monday, June 26, 1995 at a rate of $95.00 single/double. To make room reservations, please call the hotel at 816/421-6800 and request a room in the ICI Bank Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee block. Room reservations must be made by June 8, 1995. On the evening of June 26th, Committee members that signed up to attend the baseball game will see the Kansas City Royals and the Cleveland Indians play at the Kauffman Stadium. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. and we have arranged to have dinner at the stadium at 5:00 pm prior to the game. Transportation will be provided and details will be announced shortly before the meeting. Because Committee meeting attendance has been growing recently, the Institute wishes to remind Committee members of the ICI policy with respect to meeting attendance. Namely, attendance is limited to Committee members or their designated substitutes only. This means that each firm represented should send only one delegate. Any exceptions to this policy, such as where a second individual from a represented firm is working on a Committee project and is scheduled to make a presentation on the project, must be approved in advance by the Committee Chairman and the ICI. We respectfully request your adherence to this policy, as it helps to preserve the effectiveness of the Committee as a working group and permits the Institute to occasionally add new members as appropriate.
