1995 INVESTMENT ADVISERS CONFERENCE BROCHURE AND REGISTRATION FORM

The enclosed brochure describes the highlights of the conference and the panels, whose discussions will focus on current developments in SEC regulation, ERISA developments, marketing issues for advisers, state developments and an in- depth panel on compliance issues. Viewpoints of industry as well as regulators will be represented by expert panelists. Barry Barbash, Director of the Division of Investment Management of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will give the keynote address on Thursday morning. Our luncheon speaker on Thursday will be Wayne Abernathy, Staff Director for the Senate Banking Committee Subcommittee on Securities of which Senator Phil Gramm (R-TX), sponsor of pending investment adviser legislation, is the Chairman. On Friday morning, we will break out into small breakfast discussion groups before the final in- depth panel on compliance issues. A buffet luncheon will complete Friday's program. To register for the conference, please complete the form attached to the brochure and return it with your check to the Institute as soon as possible. Until Monday, May 22 (an extension on the original deadline), a block of rooms is being held for conference attendees, so be sure to mention that you are attending the Institute's conference when you call the hotel.
