RE: Special Board Meeting to Discuss Advisory Group Report on
Personal Investing

A special meeting of the Board of Governors will be held in the
David Silver Conference Room at the Institute at 12:30 pm on
Thursday, June 30, 1994. Lunch will be served.
The principal purpose of the meeting will be to act on the
recommendations contained in the report of the Advisory Group on
Personal Investing. As this is one of the most important issues to
come before the Board in recent times, I hope you will make every
effort to attend.
You should have already received a copy of the Advisory Group's
report. Further information will be sent to you in the near
future.
For your convenience a block of rooms for the evening of Wednesday,
June 29th are being held at the Grand Hyatt, 1000 H St., NW at a
special rate of $189.00 per night. Reservations may be made
directly with the hotel at 202/582-1234 before June 8, 1994.
Please be sure to mention that you are attending ICI meetings.
