| Print
March 3, 1994 TO: BOARD OF GOVERNORS NO. 22-94 RE: MAY 4 LEGISLATIVE BRIEFING ON CAPITAL HILL __________________________________________________________ In conjunction with the May Board of Governors meeting, the Legislative Affairs Department has scheduled the third annual Board of Governors' Legislative Briefing on Capitol Hill. The Briefing will begin with a luncheon speaker and proceed through the afternoon. A copy of the proposed agenda is attached. The Board meeting on May 4 is scheduled to end at 11:30 a.m., at which time you and your colleagues will be taken to Capitol Hill by prearranged transportation. The Briefing will begin upon arrival and is expected to conclude at approximately 4:15 p.m., at which time transportation will be available to take you to the airport or back to the Grand Hyatt Hotel. In response to the survey of Board opinion about last year's Briefing, we have made several changes that will permit greater exchange between Members of Congress and Board members. In April, a final agenda detailing speakers and topics will be sent to you. At that time, we will ask you to submit in advance questions/topics you would like any of the speakers to address. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the question and answer session following each speaker. Because of the importance and nature of this Briefing, we strongly urge you to attend the entire event. If you wish additional information, please call me. Please return the attached response form to the Legislative Affairs Department at your earliest convenience. We will keep you informed as the agenda develops. I look forward to seeing you on May 4.
