Reich, U.S. Secretary of Labor, via satellite. Enclosed is the final conference brochure, which describes the conference agenda. Registration and the vendor exhibition will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, and will feature a variety of vendors showcasing their products and services. Please note that a continental breakfast in the Exhibit Hall has been added to Monday morning's program. The first full day of the conference will focus on retirement education, including discussions of the information that retirement plan participants need, the selection of investments and related legal considerations, and a luncheon address by B. Douglas Bernheim, Professor of Economics & Business Policy at Princeton University. The day will conclude in the Exhibit Hall with a buffet dinner featuring Walt Disney characters. Conference attendees are welcome to bring family members to meet and be photographed with the Disney characters. The second day of the conference will begin with breakfast discussion groups for Institute members. Next, Dallas Salisbury, President of the Employee Benefit Research Institute, will share EBRI's latest findings on retirement plan participation and coverage rates and lump-sum distributions. The remaining conference panels will be devoted to practical responses to the reduction in the compensation limit applicable to retirement plans, and other legislative and regulatory matters. To register for the conference, please return the attached registration form, along with the appropriate fee, to the Conference Division of the Institute as soon as possible. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Walt Disney Yacht Club Resort at the special rate of $175 per night. To reserve a room, please contact the hotel directly at (407) 934-3665 and identify yourself as an Investment Company Institute conference attendee in order to receive the special rate.
