The Investment Company Institute's Board of Governors and members are
committed to an industry-wide government affairs initiative. As part of this
effort, the Institute's Legislative Affairs Department provides regular reports
on Congressional and Administration activities that affect the investment
management industry. In connection with such reporting, you will find the
following:
1. The January 1994 issue of "Washington Update," the Institute's
monthly newsletter designed to inform members about Congressional
activity and the related Government Affairs agenda. This marks the
second year of this monthly publication.
2. The 1994 Government Affairs binder, designed to house 1994 memoranda
regarding the Institute's Government Affairs programs. This binder
contains two sections: one for issues of the "Washington Update";
the other for Federal Legislation Memoranda.
3. An index for the 1993 Government Affairs binder, which
identifies all memos you should have received.
We hope these items prove useful to you and assist in the Institute's
ongoing efforts to provide informative services. If you wish further
