November 4, 1993 TO: BOARD OF GOVERNORS NO. 100-93 RE: Resignation of Jacob Dreyer as Vice President-Research and Chief Economist __________________________________________________________ Attached is a letter from Jake Dreyer announcing his intention to resign from the Institute to explore various business opportunities and to pursue his academic interests. Jake has agreed to remain at the Institute for several months to supervise the Research Department during the process of selecting a successor and to wind up projects in which he has been directly involved. The Institute will begin the search for a successor immediately. I know you join me in wishing Jake the very best in his new ventures. Matthew P. Fink President
