The Institute is considering a major initiative to promote and enhance the
benefits of defined contribution plans. In order to devote the Committee’s full
attention to this issue, we have scheduled a separate, full-day meeting to
consider and discuss this initiative on October 12, the day before the Pension
Committee meeting, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with lunch provided. A
discussion outline is attached.
