RE: NOTICE OF MEETING AND DINNER OCTOBER 5-6, 1993

The next meeting of the Board of Governors is on Wednesday, October 6 at
10:00 am in the Federal Room at the Capital Hilton Hotel, 16th and K Streets, NW,
Washington DC. At 8:00 am prior to the Board of Governors meeting there will be
a legislative breakfast in the South American Room. Further information
regarding the speaker for the breakfast will be sent to you in late September.
A dinner for the Board with a guest speaker is planned on the night before
the meeting, Tuesday, October 5 at 7:00 pm at the National Museum of Women in the
Arts, 1250 New York Avenue, NW, Washington DC. A bus will leave the Capital
Hilton at 6:30 pm to take you to the museum. Information on the guest speaker
will also be sent to you in late September.
For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Capital
Hilton for the night of October 5. To reserve your room, please call the hotel
directly at 202/393-1000 by September 14. Be sure to tell them that you are
planning to attend the Investment Company Institute's Board of Governors meeting.
For planning purposes, please note that the Winter Board of Governors
Meeting will be held at the Four Seasons Resort in Nevis, January 25 - 26, 1994.
Travel and accommodation information will be sent to you early this Fall.
