July 15, 1993 TO: PENSION COMMITTEE NO. 25-93 RESEARCH COMMITTEE NO. 22-93 RE: Suggested Questions for Individuals on Upcoming Surveys Concerning Retirement or Pension Plans __________________________________________________________ We are attempting to expand pension research in order to provide support to members and to ICI pension initiatives. In addition to the Institute's new pension survey, this research would include procuring data from sources external to ICI and examining trends, attitudes, and behavior of individuals through our own studies and through participation in surveys of external research firms and associations. We currently have the opportunity to contribute suggestions concerning retirement or pension plans for several household consumer surveys which are in the planning process by outside research firms.
