RE: NEXT DATE FOR CLOSED-END FUND COMMITTEE MEETING

The next meeting of the Closed-End Fund Committee has been
tentatively scheduled for October 13, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. in the
David Silver Conference Room at the Institute. We would
appreciate it if you marked your calendar accordingly. A formal
meeting notice and a draft agenda will be sent closer to the
actual meeting date.
