CORRECTION TO SEC'S PROPOSAL ON EXPEDITED REVIEW PROCEDURES FOR EXEMPTIVE APPLICATIONS

April 19, 1993 TO: SEC RULES COMMITTEE NO. 36-93 RE: CORRECTION TO SEC'S PROPOSAL ON EXPEDITED REVIEW PROCEDURES FOR EXEMPTIVE APPLICATIONS __________________________________________________________ As we previously informed you, the SEC has proposed expedited review procedures for certain exemptive applications. (See Memorandum to SEC Rules Committee No. 28-93, dated March 30, 1993.) The SEC has issued a correction to the proposing release. With respect to applications that have been declared abandoned, the SEC will not accept requests to reactivate such applications, as stated in the proposing release. Instead, if an applicant subsequently decides to pursue an abandoned application, the applicant must file a new application. A copy of the correction to the SEC's release is attached. Amy B.R.
