This conference will be held in Bermuda at the Marriott Castle Harbour Hotel, April 25-28, 1993. It will focus on business and legal issues for mutual fund sponsors with a particular emphasis on cross-border sales. Enclosed is a brochure which describes this year's conference agenda. There will be a panel dealing with practical problems and realistic opportunities for fund managers seeking to access the U.S., European and Japanese markets and a panel dealing with regulatory issues for such managers. A panel debate on the use of various fund structures, as well as panels on money market funds, custodial, tax and a variety of other issues will also be presented. Speakers at the conference represent a cross- section of mutual fund business executives, attorneys and accountants from Europe, Japan and the U.S. Conference activities will include an opening reception sponsored by the Organising Committee, a cocktail party hosted by the Bank of Bermuda, the Bank of Butterfield and the Bermuda Commercial Bank and a dinner sponsored by the International Bar Association and the Institute. To register for the conference, please return the attached registration form along with the appropriate fee to the Conference Administrator, Investment Company Institute as early as possible. We expect substantial interest in the conference, and space is limited to the first 300 registrants.
