RE: NOTICE OF MEETINGS - THURSDAY, JANUARY 28, 1993

The Tax and Pension Committee meetings have been scheduled
for Thursday, January 28, 1993 at the Army & Navy Club, 901 17th
Street, N.W., Washington, DC. The Tax Committee will meet at
10:00 a.m. and the Pension Committee will meet at 2:00 p.m. A
joint luncheon will be served immediately following the Tax
Committee meeting. Committee members are invited to attend both
meetings that day.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Capital Hilton
Hotel. To make a reservation at the preferred room rate of
$150.00, please call 202/393-1000, as soon as possible, and
identify yourself as being affiliated with the Investment Company
Institute. The cut-off date is Thursday, January 7, 1993.
Please remember that the space at the meeting is limited to
members of the committees, or their alternates. To assist us in
obtaining an accurate registration of attendees, please indicate
on the attached form if you or an alternate plan to attend the
meetings and luncheon.
In addition, please mark your calendar now for the second
Tax and Pension Committee meetings scheduled for 1993. The
Pension Committee will meet on Wednesday, March 31, 1993 at the
Mayflower Hotel immediately following the Pension Conference.
The Tax Committee meeting will be held on the morning of
Thursday, April 1, 1993 at the Madison Hotel.
