RE: INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT’S UNIFIED FEE PROPOSAL

The Institute intends to hold a meeting of members of the
SEC Rules Committee to discuss the Division of Investment
Management’s unified fee proposal. The meeting is scheduled for
November 17, 1992, at 2:00 p.m.
At the meeting, we will discuss issues pertinent to the
staff’s recommendation in an effort to develop an Institute
position. Attached is a copy of the Division’s unified fee
recommendation, from its study on reform of the Investment
Company Act.
If you expect to attend the meeting, please complete the
attached form and return it to Shirley McCoy at the Institute as
soon as possible. Please indicate any issues that you would like
to discuss at the meeting.
