RE: Dinner for Bill Strott

As you may know Bill Strott is retiring from Merrill Lynch
as of January 1, and our September 17 meeting will be his last as
chairman of the Sales Force Marketing Committee. We are planning
a special farewell dinner in Bill’s honor for Wednesday evening,
September 16, 7:00 p.m. at the Taberna del Alabardero in
Washington. Some of Bill’s old friends may want to participate
in the program by toasting Bill or sharing a few memories. If
you would like to join in, please call me (202-955-3540) or write
me at the Institute. Whether or not you wish to participate in
the toast, you should indicate on your attendance form whether
you plan to attend the dinner and return the form to Rebecca
Bentley at the Institute.
