MISSOURI PROPOSAL TO REQUIRE FILING OF INTERNAL SALES MATERIAL UPON REQUEST OF COMMISSIONER

April 30, 1992 TO: STATE LIAISON COMMITTEE NO. 17-92 SUBCOMMITTEE ON ADVERTISING NO. 7-92 RE: MISSOURI PROPOSAL TO REQUIRE FILING OF INTERNAL SALES MATERIAL UPON REQUEST OF COMMISSIONER __________________________________________________________ The Missouri Securities Division has proposed an amendment to the advertising filing rule which would specifically require the submission of sales and advertising literature and promotional material for comment when requested by the Commissioner of Securities. The proposed rule would also require the filing of sales and advertising material intended for internal or broker-dealer use when requested by the Commissioner. A copy of the proposed amendment to Rule 15 CSR 30-53.010 is attached. Currently, sales literature and advertising material prepared in conformity with the requirements of the NASD or SEC is not required to be filed in Missouri. We will keep you advised of developments.
