RE: IRS ANNOUNCEMENT ON REVISED FORM W-9

The attached IRS announcement reminds filers of tax
information returns that Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer
Identification Number and Certification, was revised in September
1991. Pursuant to the Form's instructions, a payee who is a sole
proprietor must furnish his or her individual name and either his
or her social security number or employer identification number.
A sole proprietor may also enter his or her business name on the
business name line. Filers are urged to use the revised Form, a
copy of which is also attached, as soon as possible.
