TO: Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee RE: Mark Your Calendar - November 17 Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee Meeting

We are pleased to announce that we will hold our next virtual meeting of this committee on Friday, November 17, 2023. The meeting will begin at 12:00 pm ET and should conclude no later than 2:00 pm ET. We will be holding this meeting through Zoom with a dial-in available.

We are fortunate to have Andrea Magovern, Michael Kosoff, Asen Parachkevov, and Elisabeth Bentzinger from the SEC's Division of Investment Management to join us for a quick update on recent SEC initiatives in the insurance products area, the SEC's upcoming rulemaking agenda, and other regulatory updates.

We will also provide updates from ICI staff on timely issues of interest, followed by an opportunity for members to lead a series of short discussions on issues on which you would like to solicit your colleagues' feedback (i.e., "shop talk").  We therefore request that, in an email to kevin.ercoline@ici.org or in the comment box when you register, you include questions or topics you would like to raise with your colleagues at the meeting, as well as questions you would like to raise, or have us raise, with the SEC staff.

Registration can be accomplished online at https://cvent.me/ow79PD. Once you have registered for the meeting, an individualized link will be generated and emailed to you. This individualized link will work only for you. Accordingly, please make sure you save it to your calendar. We request that you do not forward your calendar invitation for the meeting to others. Because it is an individualized link, it will not work for your colleagues.

If you have questions about registration, please contact Jennifer Odom at jodom@ici.org. We will be circulating a draft agenda closer to the date of the meeting.

We look forward to hearing from you on November 17th!
