TO: Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee RE: Reminder to Register for June 13 DMAC Meeting: Draft Agenda Attached
A friendly reminder that, on Tuesday, June 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (ET), ICI will hold a members-only meeting of the Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee. We will hold the meeting in person at Ropes & Gray's Washington, DC office, with the option to participate virtually. Ropes & Gray has also kindly offered to host a member dinner the evening before the meeting, on Monday, June 12 at 6:30 p.m. (ET) at Blue Duck Tavern in Washington, DC.
As previously mentioned, we will be joined by several guest speakers during the member meeting. CFTC Commissioner Summer K. Mersinger will join us to discuss the CFTC's regulatory priorities, and Leigh Fraser and Jeremy Liabo, Partners at Ropes & Gray, as well as Egan Cammack, Molly Moore, and Jennifer Thompson, Counsels at the firm, will lead a discussion on recent derivatives law developments.
If you plan to attend the June meeting, please visit our registration site at https://cvent.me/DMAC. When you register, please indicate if you are attending the meeting in person and whether you will join us for dinner the evening before.
Please include on the online registration form any suggestions you have for the agenda, particular topics you would like to discuss with other members at the meeting, and any questions you would like to raise (or would like us to raise) with Commissioner Mersinger or with our guest speakers from Ropes & Gray. We have attached a draft agenda to this memorandum. Closer to the meeting date, we will circulate a final agenda and materials.
If you indicate on the registration form that you will join the meeting virtually, an individualized link will be generated and emailed to you to enable you to participate in the meeting. This individualized link will work only for you. Accordingly, please make sure you save it to your calendar. You may participate in the meeting by video or by phone.
We request that you do not forward your calendar invitation for the meeting to others. Because it is an individualized link, it will not work for your colleagues. Consistent with our guidelines, this meeting is limited to members of the Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee. If you would like additional colleagues at your firm to participate in the meeting, please contact Jean Zadeh at jean.zadeh@ici.org and she will assist them in registering directly for the meeting. This will help us maintain the confidentiality of our meeting and allow us to monitor the number of attendees. We appreciate your cooperation.
