TO: Tax Committee RE: Member Survey: Year-End Spreadsheet Layouts
ICI requests member input as we consider improvements to the ICI Year-End Spreadsheet Layouts. Specifically, we are seeking feedback on what factors may cause a fund to require an extension to provide tax reporting information past the relevant ICI target data delivery date ("ICI Deadline") and whether it would be helpful for the spreadsheet layouts to include a new Extension code for this purpose. We also request feedback on whether certain codes available for the Primary Spreadsheet Layout should be added to the Secondary Spreadsheet Layout. Finally, we request information on whether certain columns of the Foreign (NRA) Spreadsheet Layout should be removed.
Please complete one survey per member firm no later than May 5, 2023. Individual firm responses to this survey will remain confidential, but we request contact information in case we have follow-up questions.
