RE: POSTPONEMENT OF CALIFORNIA FAIR POLITICAL PRACTICES
COMMISSION HEARING

As we previously informed you, the California Fair
Political Practices Commission had intended to consider a
proposed exemption for employees of investment advisers to
California public funds from the disclosure provisions of the
Political Reform Act at a meeting scheduled for February 6. (See
Memorandum to Investment Advisers Committee No. 1-92, dated
January 8, 1992). Consideration of the proposal has been
postponed until May 7, 1992.
Attached is the Notice of Postponement. We will keep you
informed of developments.
