This conference, which will be held in Bermuda at the Hamilton Princess Hotel on April 27-29, 1992, will focus on business and legal issues for mutual fund sponsors with a particular emphasis on cross-border sales. As shown in the attached brochure, there will be a panel dealing with issues for U.S. and Canadian funds seeking to access European markets and a panel dealing with foreign funds seeking to access the U.S. market. There also will be a panel debate on the best jurisdiction in which to locate an offshore fund marketed in Europe, as well as other panels on a variety of regulatory and tax issues. Speakers at the conference represent a varied cross- section of mutual fund business executives, attorneys and accountants from both Europe and the U.S. Conference activities will include a cocktail party hosted by the Bank of Bermuda, the Bank of Butterfield and Bermuda Commercial Bank as well as a tour of Bermuda for spouses and guests. To register for the conference, please return the attached registration form and appropriate fee to the International Bar Association as early as possible. Because we expect substantial interest in the conference and the space is limited, we urge you to register as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding registration, please call Clare Glynn at 202-955-3555. We look forward to seeing you in Bermuda in April. Catherine L.
