Independent Accountants Advisory Group RE: Registration Open: Accounting/Treasurers Committee Meeting – December 14

A joint meeting of the Accounting/Treasurers Committee and the Independent Accountants Advisory Group will be held in person on Wednesday, December 14 at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.  The meeting will be held from 10:00 a.m. Eastern time until 1:00 p.m. Eastern time in the first-floor conference room. A light breakfast will be available prior to the meeting and lunch will be served at the conclusion of the meeting.

We are pleased to announce that SEC staff from the Chief Accountants Office in the Division of Investment Management will participate in the meeting and brief the committee on current SEC developments.

Continuing Professional Education Credit

Meeting attendees are eligible for three hours of CPE credit (Taxation, Accounting/Auditing, and Specialized Knowledge and Applications). The Investment Company Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
