TO: Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee RE: Registration Now Open-Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee Meeting - April 26-28, 2022

 

The Investment Company Institute's Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will meet virtually April 26-28, 2022, in three online sessions. The dates and times are listed below (all times ET):

  • Session 1: Tuesday, April 26th from 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.
  • Networking Brunch/Lunch: Tuesday, April 26th from 1:15 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Session 2: Wednesday, April 27th from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Session 3: Thursday, April 28th from 1:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m.

Online Meeting Registration

To register for the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee meeting, please visit our registration site at https://cvent.me/lPz0VN. Please note that the only way to register for the committee meeting and networking reception is through the Cvent link.

Attendees will indicate which session(s) they are attending during registration. For those session(s) where a committee member cannot attend, an alternate may register and attend. Following the committee's "Expectations and Guidelines" document, attendance at any session is limited to one representative per organization, unless an exception is granted by ICI.

Attendees will be asked to provide their work email, office, and cell phone numbers when registering. With confirmed registration, attendees may download related ICS or other calendar invitations. One day and one hour prior to each session, ICI will send meeting reminders to all registered attendees, including personalized instructions to access each session. All sessions will be hosted on the Zoom web conferencing platform.

Networking Lunch/Brunch

Following Tuesday's opening session, attendees are invited to attend a networking reception from 1:15 - 2:00 p.m. Depending on attendance, we will use Zoom breakout sessions to allow for small-group discussions.

Request for Agenda Topics and Shop Talk

Please submit your agenda topics or "shop talk" discussion items through the Cvent registration process or email Jeff Naylor at jeff.naylor@ici.org. no later than Monday, April 4, 2022. This allows time for antitrust review and pre-meeting distribution. Our experience indicates that shop talk topics circulated in advance of the meeting considerably enhance the discussion.

Agenda and Meeting Materials

ICI will distribute the meeting agenda on Thursday, April 14, with materials one week later, through the ICI website. All meeting attendees must be signed into www.ici.org to access the committee page and download meeting materials. Alternates will need their committee member to grant "colleague access" through the website's "Committee Member" page. Members that require assistance with enabling colleague access should contact Magen Dargon Rauch (magen.dargon@ici.org) to make those arrangements.
