The fund industry has been busy implementing Rule 2a-5, the SEC's new fair value rule for funds. As part of their due diligence and outreach, members have expressed interest in ICI arranging a meeting with pricing services to better understand the changes they're making in response to these new requirements.

ICI will be hosting a special virtual member meeting on February 11 beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET.  We anticipate that this meeting will last at least two hours. We have invited several pricing services to join to discuss how they're currently supporting funds in carrying out their fair value responsibilities, and how this support is expected to change. 

Most of the meeting will feature a series of distinct pricing service presentations, but we will also spend time afterwards discussing member-provided questions on rule implementation. If you have any questions that you would like to pose to your fellow meeting participants during this portion of the meeting, please send them to me (matt.thornton@ici.org).  We'll include these on the agenda, and the person suggesting the question will pose it on the call.
