TO: Diversity and Inclusion Committee RE: Registration Now Open for ICI's December 16, 2021 Diversity and Inclusion Committee Meeting

 

ICI's Diversity and Inclusion Committee will have a video conference meeting via Zoom on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 2:00-3:15 p.m. (ET). Meeting registration is available here. A preliminary agenda is attached.

The meeting will include facilitated breakout sessions (5-8 individuals per session) on the following topics:

  • Working with those who feel disenfranchised because of an emphasis on DEI within the organization. Examples of meaningful advocacy and/or allyship for DEI. How do white men become better allies and sponsors?
  • How to ensure senior management supports DEI efforts? Incentive structures to achieve DE&I improvements
  • Resources your organization dedicates to the promotion and retention of current employees

When registering, please indicate your choice of breakout sessions. Please also indicate if you are willing to serve as a breakout session facilitator—if we do not receive enough volunteers, facilitators will be assigned.
