TO: Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee RE: December 2 Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee Meeting
We are pleased to announce that we will hold our next virtual meeting of this committee on Thursday, December 2, 2021. The meeting will begin at 1:00 pm ET and should conclude no later than 2:30 pm. We will be holding this meeting through Zoom with a dial-in available.
We are fortunate to have two sessions of guest speakers for December's meeting. First, Michael Kosoff, Sumeera Younis, Michael Pawluk, and Andrea Magovern from the SEC's Division of Investment Management will join us for a quick update on the implementation of the VASP rulemaking, the SEC's upcoming rulemaking agenda, and other regulatory updates. In addition, Tamiko Toland, Director, Retirement Markets for CANNEX, will join us to discuss the role of indexing and the impact of buffer strategies on funds.
