The Investment Company Institute's Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will meet virtually July 28-29, 2021 in three online sessions. The dates and times are listed below (all times ET):

  • Session 1: Wednesday, July 28 from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Networking Brunch/Lunch: Wednesday, July 28 from 1:45 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Session 2: Wednesday, July 28 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Session 3: Thursday, July 29 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Online Meeting Registration

To register for the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee meeting, please visit our registration site at https://cvent.me/ovZ5r8. Please note that the only way to register for the committee meeting and networking reception is through the Cvent link.

When registering, attendees will select the session(s) they are attending. For those session(s) where a committee member cannot attend, an alternate may register and attend for the member. Following the committee's " Expectations and Guidelines" document, attendance at any session is limited to one representative per organization, unless an exception is granted by ICI.

Attendees will provide their work email, office, and cell phone numbers when registering. With confirmed registration, attendees may download calendar invitations for each session selected; the default "Calendar Download" is compatible with Microsoft Outlook 365. One day and one hour prior to each session, ICI will send meeting reminders to all registered attendees, including personalized instructions to access each session. All sessions will be hosted on the Zoom web conferencing platform.

Virtual Networking Brunch/Lunch

Instead of the traditional networking reception held at the end of the east coast business day, we encourage committee members to share brunch/lunch on Wednesday. Registered attendees will partake of their own meal with a small group of meeting attendees in a Zoom breakout session. Attendees will be encouraged to discuss any topic of their choosing; ICI also will provide ice breaker questions and other discussion suggestions. We hope that scheduling this activity during the workday will allow for greater participation by the committee. 

Request for Agenda Topics and Shop Talk

Please submit your agenda topics or "shop talk" discussion items when registering or email Jeff Naylor at jeff.naylor@ici.org. no later than Friday, July 9, 2021. This allows time for antitrust review and pre-meeting distribution. Our experience indicates that shop talk topics circulated in advance of the meeting considerably enhance the discussion.

Agenda and Meeting Materials

ICI will distribute the meeting agenda on Thursday, July 15, with materials one week later through the ICI website. All meeting attendees must sign into www.ici.org to access the committee page and download meeting materials. Alternates who do not have "colleague access" to the committee page will need the member to contact Magen (magen.dargon@ici.org) and request colleague access for the alternate.
