Reminder Regarding SFDR Workshop #6; and a Call on the CFA Consultation on ESG Disclosure Standards for Investment Products

TO: EU ESG Disclosure Regulation Working Group RE: Reminder Regarding SFDR Workshop #6; and a Call on the CFA Consultation on ESG Disclosure Standards for Investment Products

 

A brief reminder of a couple of meetings we have scheduled for next week. 

• Our next workshop on the SFDR/Taxonomy/MiFID II sustainability rules' implementation will take place next Wednesday, 9 June, at 14:00 BST/9:00 a.m. EDT (invite should be on your calendars).  I am in the process of putting together an agenda, which I will circulate before the call. 

Please do let me know (adriggs@ici.org) if there are specific issues you may want to discuss on the call, and I can highlight them on the agenda, so that others may give the issues some thought before the meeting.  We aim for these workshops to be forums for you to discuss challenging implementation questions as they relate to the EU sustainability laws and regulations so all questions are welcome.

• ICI plans to respond to the CFA Institute's Exposure Draft of ESG Disclosure Standards for Investment Products, and this Working Group is invited to join the call to discuss the ICI's response.[1]  This call is scheduled for next Tuesday, 8 June, 16:00 BST/11 a.m. EDT. 

You should have received a call invitation and also a summary of the consultation.  In addition to those items, I want to highlight that the CFA compared their proposal with the SFDR, Mapping of SFDR Requirements to Exposure Draft Provisions, which you may find interesting.[2]
