As we previously informed you, we will hold the annual ICI/EFAMA meeting in a virtual format on May 19, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. EDT / 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. CEST. The preliminary agenda for the meeting is attached.
We are pleased to inform you that Sven Gentner, Asset Management Head of Unit, DG FISMA, European Commission, will be speaking to our group about EU financial services priorities for 2021 and beyond and we are awaiting confirmation of a speaker from the US Treasury on the financial services priorities of the Biden administration. We will also discuss the lessons that were learned from the COVID-19 crisis and related potential regulatory reforms that are being considered.
In order to allow for participant interaction and discussion, we will initially limit participation to one committee representative per ICI member firm. If the registration numbers allow, we will open the registration to additional representatives.
