ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee RE: Agenda for Upcoming Meeting of the ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee: May 4, 2021

 

As we previously informed you, the next meeting of the ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. US Eastern / 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. London. The agenda for the meeting is attached.

You have previously received a calendar invitation for the meeting, but we still ask that if you plan to attend, please register for the meeting on Cvent here: https://cvent.me/ovlwoz .

We are delighted to announce that the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) will be our guest presenters at this meeting. 

We will be joined by the following members of the CSSF staff:

  • Pascal Berchem, Head of the Authorisation and Supervision of Investment Fund Managers Team
  • Alain Hoscheid, Head of the Prudential Supervision and Risk Management Team
  • Guilhem Ros, Head of the Investment Fund's Anti-Money Laundering Team
  • Laurent van Burik, Head of the Legal and International Division.

The CSSF staff will discuss a range of regulatory developments of relevance to investment funds, including the CSSF's recent workstreams on liquidity risk management, UCITS costs and charges, and anti-money laundering.

When you register for the meeting you will receive the WebEx link and you will also have the opportunity to submit questions for the CSSF.

An invitation for the CSSF session has been extended to additional ICI Global committees. Following the discussion with the CSSF, the ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee will continue on the same WebEx link to cover a few more agenda items while other participants will log off. We anticipate that the discussion with the CSSF will last between an hour and an hour and a half, depending on member questions and discussion.
