March 19, 2021 TO: Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee RE: Registration Now Open - Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee Meeting - April 20-22, 2021
The Investment Company Institute’s Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will meet virtually April 20-22, 2021 in four 90-minute online sessions, plus one online networking reception. The dates and times are listed below (all times ET):
To register for the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee meeting, please visit the registration site at https://cvent.me/WYKP7W. Please note that the only way to register for the committee meeting and networking reception is through the Cvent link.
During the registration process, attendees will indicate which session(s) they are attending. For those session(s) where a committee member cannot attend, an alternate may register and attend for the member. Following the committee’s “Expectations and Guidelines” document, attendance at any session is limited to one representative per organization, unless an exception is granted by ICI.
Attendees will be asked to provide their work email, office, and cell phone numbers when registering. While on the Cvent site, attendees may download calendar invitations for each registered session. One day prior to each session, ICI will email reminders to all registered attendees, including personalized links to access each session. All sessions will be hosted on the Zoom web conferencing platform.
On Tuesday, April 20, the committee is invited to a virtual networking reception following Session 1. We anticipate the reception will take advantage of virtual “breakout rooms” where attendees will be able to meet in smaller groups. While registration is required, there is no charge for the virtual networking reception. Additional details will be provided to all registered attendees on April 19.
Please submit your agenda topics or “shop talk” discussion items through the Cvent registration process or email Jeff Naylor at jeff.naylor@ici.org. no later than Tuesday, April 6, 2021. This allows time for antitrust review and pre-meeting distribution. Our experience indicates that shop talk topics circulated in advance of the meeting considerably enhance the discussion.
ICI will distribute the meeting agenda on Tuesday, April 6, with materials one week later, through the ICI website. Committee members must grant “colleague access” on the website to any colleagues that require access to meeting materials.
We look forward to meeting with you in April!
